CapTain Rain at the "Day of Hydrology"

The „Day of Hydrology“ (Tag der Hydrologie (TdH)) is an important conference on Hydrology in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This year it took place in Garching close to Munich on the 22 and 23 of March and was hosted by the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Clara Hohmann from the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences presented a poster on the topic “Flash flood modelling and forecasting in data scarce regions like Jordan – A first step of an adequate model selection”. With more than 200 participants the TdH faced high interest, especially on the topic flash floods. The CapTain Rain project was presented to the scientific community and fruitful conversations about differences and similarities of approaches to model flash floods were conducted.
